I can’t sleep and I’ve seen those cute hetalia paper dolls~
I though it’d be cute to make a TRC one using and modifying the basic pattern.
And I had "so much fun " (not really, wanna sleep) that I made him accessories and extra-clothes‘__’;

He has a pony-tail but the battery of my camera died. He stands on his feet all alone.

Might cross-post him somewhere soon after some modifications of the hair and the eyes.

Phone and electricity back. That’s good, it started to feel cold here and having no news was frightening.
*is still a bit under the shock*
Difficult wake up after a difficult night,that was 7 hours of hell. Still, my family and our close neighbours have been really lucky. We only had minor roof damages and that’s partly because we spent the night fixing it (I know it’s dangerous =_=;; I managed to hurt my left hand in the process.). There are some other damages too but nothing that can’t be fixed. When I opened the shutters there was tiles everywhere and some plastic shutters from another house that probably broke and landed here.

It’s spring tide here. Combined with the storm, the sea invaded the land. The north of my village has been flooded by the sea. I’m living on a part situated on the hills, we didn’t suffer from the flood but the wind blew up to 160 km/h. In my street only my roof and the neighbour’s still have a nearly complete set of tiles but that’s because our houses are old and adapted to the region. The more recent houses were heavily damaged.
The village had been cut from the rest of the world for 5 hours but they somehow managed to re-open the road.

I got a good fright during the night, if the storm wasn’t enough. I was trying to peek at that big tree outside, through to bathroom’s small window on the top floor. I was scared it’d fall on the house and was mildly glad to see it was already down and made no damage while falling. There was a big noise and I saw lots of things coming toward the house and crashing against the wall. Luckily, nothing hit the window, else… >_< One of our neighbour’s roof partially crashed and what I saw and heard were tiles flying to crash against our façade.. Curiosity killed the cat they said @A@...

The port downtown overflowed the old town. I saw photos and it makes me want to cry. The were boats on the road .

Red alert...winds up to 150 km/h. Mom and dad wanted to send me back to Bordeaux but I refused. If there are problems here they'd need me ~~and I don't want dad to go alone under the roof if it needs reparations~~.. Sincerely, I'm scared since what happened last time we were in red alert zone.
We packed up everything inside and we're securing the house like everyone. I just fucking hope the meteorologists are wrong.

I went to see Sherlock Holmes today. I’m both overjoyed and disappointed.

Good points:
FUCK YESSSSSS THEY GOT HIM RIGHT *_____________________* ! ‘looks like the authors actually read Sherlock Holmes, the characterisation is fucking awesome, for the first time I recognised Holmes. And Watson wasn’t that bad too, a tiny bit too cocky though...Still HOLMES ♥ \o/.
Maybe people will disagree with me but I saw Conan Doyle’s Sherlock on screen, really. It was nearly him and not a caricature, that’s awesome. His relationship with Watson was a little bit off sometimes but still credible when you read the books.
Jude law makes a very sexy Watson XD

The best : they didn’t include the annoying “Elementary my dear Watson” in the dialogue. I love them for that. ~~Sherlock never said that phrase.~~
There were tons of hidden references to the books , I loved that.

Now to the bad point:
Plot hole case !1!1!1 Nah…really, they had the perfect Sherlock and involved him in the stupidest plot ever. Too bad. Black magic, resurrection… *rolls eyes*
Let’s say the end, showing us how SH solved the case, half saved the scenario but… it wasn’t a Sherlock Holmes Case. That’s disappointing when you consider the quality of the characterisation.

…and the anachronism and location errors… I’ve never been to London but I’m 150% sure they made mistakes, the characters sometimes seem to pop up in parts of London situated kilometres away from each others.

Now to the plotholes:

… Watson’s not that dumb. He has an autopsy to do during the movie and , even I could tell the guy didn’t die hanged. His face wouldn’t be that pale (it’d rather be purplish I’d say), he’d got revolved eyes and a broken neck. But Watson’s all omg, no pulse he’s dead !1!1!1!!1! …despite the fact the guy looks like he died painlessly during his sleep . Hello they hung him, isn’t that suspicious ?I shook my head in disbelief at that.

And those dumb people from the magic order suddenly believing in Blackwood…?Like, centuries of witchcraft blabbering and suddenly magic appears … Duh…

One of the bad guy spoke French, I’m nearly sure of it, even if they replaced it with Italian in the French version. Not that it really matters but BOOOOOH ;p

If you want to get to know who's Sherlock Holmes, go see it. But be warned, while the characters and their actors are really good and save the film, the plot fails.
Oh, and I wanna see that movie "The Men Who Stare at Goats" , I saw the trailer at the cinema , it looks fun

'had a sushi evening with friends afterwards, Raquel brough me a cute pen back from Japan ^^. Had fun.
Oh~and weakened throat and lungs after an allergy + winter = Bronchitis. =____= I'm aphonic. Moar meds for me.

Sherlock Holmes rant

Sometimes people just make me laugh when they want to appear smart.
Screams of horror, the upcoming Sherlock Holmes movie is very “hollywoodian” . Oh my god, bad bad bad *faints*.. Where's the smart Victorian gentleman, protecting the widow and the orphan in a respectable Victorian Era ? Explosions? poisons ? Bad boy ? Dirt and sluts ? That's no Sherlock Holmes.*Shakes head: no no no*.

Excepted that...

Some should really read Sherlock Holmes before judging the film without seeing it, 'cause from what I saw until now, that Sherlock's far closer to Conan Doyle's Character than the gramp with the pipe and the magnifying glass from the BBC.

Holmes'a cold blooded bitter egoistic bastard( l'insulte "sale con" me vient souvent à l'esprit quand je lis S.H.). The widow and the orphan? He doesn't care, only mysterious cases interest him, bonus if they are sordid. He's a junky and a real one (he affirms it openly). He's misogynous and considers woman are driven by their hormones (hysteria). Gentleman, eh ?
Watson's not his friend, he's his thing. He isn't even free to make a family, Sherlock's mocking him and becomes acid and horrible. In one case, he makes he makes people think he's dying to play a trick and solve a mystery, he could have told Watson but no, let the poor guy worry he's too woman-like to be useful and keep a secret . His obsession is Moriarty, not justice. We can even wonder if Moriarty really does exist or if he's some kind of imaginary double the (not that) genius detective created to feel dominated (ok I'm going a bit far but it's true in a way; the obsession of the Victorian era was the double and personality troubles). And like in the most part of the books from that era , there are heavy hints of homosexuality... (nope, Sherlock isn't asexual.) I never saw it hinted in any movies/series.
Smart ? Not that much. Literature 0, Poetry and arts:0 politics? Not interested. He's down to earth and not bad in biology, quite good in chemistry and expert in poisons.

People saying that movie will suck because it doesn't look like Sherlock Holmes because it’s a pure Hollywood product make me laugh. It's the tv series and the movies shot so far that transformed the image of the detective who's far from being a good person and a justice freak. I don't know if the movie will be good or not but it can't be as bad as what I saw until now~~... though in one adaptation I saw recently, he wasn't that badly portrayed.~~ Maybe I'll be disappointed as a fan of Doyle's short stories but I'm going to see it.

...but I have 2 more books to buy and read oTL. Nevermind, that's "train literature" so it won't take me long.

Zombified...'didn't want to get up this morning and I arrived late ... Too cold outside+bed warm and comfy= total lack of will.

I can't remember when I read for fun for the last time. we're studying 8 books this year and have a list of 12 classics to read.
I'm slowly turning into a reading machine. The funniest is that I learned today that in third year people still didn't read the books (go sparksnotes...)

Stuck in bordeaux this week-end... But I found an occupation.
Eternal sonata ~♥ *___*, I... second hand and in a very good shape; lucky~... * 85€ brand new >_< ... I bought it 30€ and it's like it never had been used.. The shop owner put it aside for me as he knew I was looking for it. *loves her local small videogame shop*).

That game's simply fabulous so far .
I just started it *3 hours of game* and totally fell for it. At first it reminded me the awesome Dark Chronicles 2 (level 5 2003 playstation 2) but it's even better.

Fréderic Chopin 's slowly dying from tuberculosis in Paris. On his death bed he's dreaming of a world influenced by his own life and work . The game takes place in this world, and he's part of it too.

The game's pretty and the music quite good.

... and if the game fits that amv's mood I'm sure I'm going to love it even more (bawww Chopin ;_; *the boy with the hat* ):

You don’t really have to understand French a lot to get what’s wrong with this website.

This totally pisses me off, the worse is that they are becoming popular. Even french teachers agree with the concept.
Replacing the sounds with a phonetic transcription (sms, lolspeak... =_= )… What the hell ? Kids already don’t know how to write…
I’m no grammar/spelling nazi but I don’t want that. Literature isn’t always all about the sense and the sounds of the words . And the Latin roots ? With that system they disappear. Nowadays, people have less and less vocabulary. A system that would deprive them of the hints that could help them getting the sense of a word is dumb.

2 fma fanarts; spoilers for book 13

Uni starts again soon, I won’t spam my f-list for long again ^^;
I’ve been toying around with Manga studio’s brushes yesterday and today; trying to avoid using the G-pen and replacing it by the polygonal lasso tool and the maru pen.
The lines came out messier but in a way a bit better than usual .
And I found a bunch of nice textures ♥.

And then I totally forgot that ed had a bandage around the head during that scene.

Half of your contacts are blocked (there's a little bar over the square next to their nick) and you can't unlock it. It's alphabetical @_@ .
It's not a problem of being blocked as Alix's trying to join me and I don't even receive his mails on my msn mailbox... plus I can't talk to people because msn tells me I blocked them @_@ But I didn't .. I don't think everyone blocked me , I hardly bother them, plus I wouldn't know if they are online or not and I can see it.

And I have troubles changing of status too.

Gods, I swear I FAIL XD, worse than a 10 year old . I already finished Ratchet and Clank ACIT when I only started it 2 days ago (no class tomorrow morning). But it can't be helped; that series is getting better and better along the years (stupid jokes and amusing second degree humor, parodies, obscure references to geek culture , good scenario). I've been following it since 2002(first ps2 game with J&D♥) and it still cracks me up... even if I preferred TOD, acit is... a bit too easy to beat and a people look like it ran away from children's book. But they kept the second degree humor; an adult would get jokes a kid wouldn't (though there was a little less of it in that one ).
*died of laughter listening to the two old bots rambling about videogame history at the end.*

I think it's the only series that can make you go "awww" in front of a hug between a rat and a bot ... what ? I'm a platform/shoot game freak
Insomniac really did an awesome job on that game ~~unlike High impact when they brought the licence on psp... bleh~~ but seeing the ending, I fear it's the last.

Don't want ;_;.
It'd be a pity because as stupid as the universe they created is, it's rich, gorgeously geeky and awesome and it must be one of the rare game I've played to where the characters personality do evolves without becoming plain.

- Succeed at my exams./ Done ! I validated the year with good grades and at the first try despite everything
- Grow Bolder./ … Half succeeded, I did things I’d never thought I'd do .

- Be less clumsy / FAILED XDD.
- Try to get more involved in everything happening around me. /I think I kinda tried to do my best about it this year.
